Our Process
Step 1: Registration
First Step – please complete our Begin Your Search form. Many families have questions and are more comfortable speaking with us before submitting their registration form. Please feel free to either call our office between 9:00 and 5:00 Monday through Friday at 513.561.4810, or submit this contact form and we will get back with you within 24 business hours.
If you are ready to begin the process, fill out our Registration form and Placement agreement. Using the new insights that we have discovered, this form helps us work out the perfect match for your great family.
Once we receive your completed registration form and placement agreement, we will contact you to arrange either a telephone or an in-person meeting to discuss your needs and requirements in greater detail.
This interview ensures we have an accurate understanding of your child care needs, as well as to share with you a synopsis of:
- Current Market conditions
- Provider Salary and Benefits ranges
- Tax and Labor laws
- Hiring Guidelines
Once we have a clear understanding of your family’s need, we will initiate the search.
Step 2: Interview Process
As we identify providers compatible with your needs, we will forward nanny profiles to you. This information comes in an electronic folder, containing
- Nanny’s application and profile,
- criminal and driving record reports,
- personal and employment references,
- resume and letters of recommendation if available.
After reviewing the provider’s information, you are free to contact those candidates whom you believe may be the best fit for your family.
Following a telephone screening, you are welcome to invite providers of your choice to your home for an interview, and to see how they interact with your family. This will allow you the opportunity to become better acquainted with the provider and to gain a clearer understanding of how she might perform with your family.
Step 3: Offer of Employment
Following a successful interview, you have options. You may either:
- extend an offer of employment.
- or choose to continue reviewing additional candidates.
We encourage families to continually communicate with our office to share characteristics of providers they like, or perhaps dislike.
Once you decide to extend an offer to a candidate, Child Care Professionals will provide you a copy of our Family/Nanny Agreement which we encourage you to complete with your new nanny. This document will clarify compensation, benefits, responsibilities and expectations, and will become the foundation for a smooth and successful working relationship between you and your new nanny.
